By train
The nearest railway station is Alkmaar Central Station. There you take bus 1234 (Alkmaar Station via West Graftdijk viaduct). The bus leaves at 17:22 or 18:22. You get off at bus stop West Graftdijk viaduct. A bus will pick you up, and take you to the start location.
By car
Zuidschermer can be reached from the north via:
A7, exit Avenhorn. Follow the N243, and turn left in the direction of Zuidschermer, or
N9, Oostelijke Randweg Alkmaar, direction Stompetoren, turn right to Zuidschermer, or
N243, direction Stompetoren, turn left to Zuidschermer;
From the south:
A8, exit N246, and turn right, or
A9 to Alkmaar, exit N243, turn right in the direction of Stompetoren, and turn right to Zuidschermer;
Parking is free in the village of Zuidschermer. The organization will take care of ample parking space in the fields close to the start location. Traffic guards will guide you. Please follow their instructions.
